The 2021 Noi4 is soft, fresh and fruity, making it a fine choice for drinking now and over the next few years. Black cherry, plum, chocolate, licorice and cloves are front and center. Bright floral accents lift the finish beautifully. This mid-weight Bolgheri red is a charmer. - AG

The nose feels like a child's backyard birthday party, with Coca-Cola and sour cherries, wild strawberries, fresh fennel and soil. Juicy berries carry the palate, but without losing the freshness and levity of the nose. Decisive tannins and prominent acidity tie everything together. — Danielle Callegari

A luscious, expressive red, exuding black cherry, blackberry, kirsch, violet, iron and wild herb aromas and flavors. Tightens up as the dense, refined tannins come into play on the lingering finish. Cabernet Sauvignon, Merlot, Petit Verdot and Cabernet Franc. Drink now through 2033.

Sette Cieli is located just outside the limits of Bolgheri, but Noi 4 – a blend of Cabernet Sauvignon, Merlot, Petit Verdot and Cabernet Franc – is from 1.5 hectares within the DOC. Slightly dusty and chocolatey, it's rich and grippy with sapid brambly fruits, spice and cream. Freshness and precision evident here. (Drink between 2024-2033)

The 2021 Noi 4 is a blend of Cabernet Sauvignon, Merlot, Petit Verdot, and Cabernet Franc that was raised for about a year in French oak. A deep ruby color, it opens to a fruity bouquet of fresh purple flowers, black raspberry, cherry liqueur, and sweet Mediterranean herbs. Although it’s approachable and full-bodied at first, its tannins and structure make themselves present on the finish, I would prefer to drink this over the next couple of years, but it has the structure to drink well over the next 6-8.
