More earth, baking spices, flowers, and dried soil notes emerge from the 2017 Pinot Noir Ma Danseuse, and it too has a beautiful core of strawberry and assorted red fruits. Showing more structure with time in the glass, plenty of acidity, and again, this incredible complexity, drink this savory, elegant, layered wine over the coming 10-12 years.

(94-96) The medium ruby-purple colored barrel sample of 2017 Pinot Noir Ma Danseuse struts some seriously profound blackberry, black cherry and wild blueberries with hints of baking spices, violets, roses and tobacco. The palate is medium to full-bodied, firm and velvety, with a wonderfully lively backbone and very long, fruity finish. 1,435 cases are expected to be produced, to be released in July 2019. - LPB
