Medium shiny red translucent. Atypical for the 2007 vintage this blend of mainly Grenache and Syrah is beautifully refined and restrained. The nose features cherry vanilla bean garrigue wood smoke and a touch of mocha. Juicy and almost gulpable on the palate it's a lighter to medium style that will please lovers of old-school Chateauneuf as well as Spanish garnacha. Drink this fresh delicious wine over the next three years or from 2015-2018. Excellent effort!

This has a nice supple feel with notes of sandalwood and espresso weaving through the black cherry and roasted plum fruit. Dashes of tobacco and cedar chime in on the lengthy finish. Drink now through 2011. 167 cases imported. -JM
