A blend of 70% Pinot Noir from Mareuil-sur-Aÿ and 30% Chardonnay from the communes of Bisseuil and Mareuil-sur-Aÿ, the NV Brut Premier Cru Sélection offers up aromas of pear, white peach, spring flowers and lemon oil mingled with delicate notes of pastry. Medium to full-bodied, with good depth at the core, it's round and vinous, with a delicate, fresh mid-palate that leads to a long, crystalline and pure finish. - YC

Very pale gold with fine, quickly dissipating bubbles, the Sélection Vielles Vignes 1er Cru NV is a 70% Pinot Noir and 30% Chardonnay based on the 2020 vintage. Fermented in stainless steel and finished Brut with a six gram per liter dosage, it opens to delicate and precise aromas of red currant, lemon sorbet, white grapefruit and a touch of honey that are pristine and fresh. The light-bodied palate is joyful with an exuberant acid line swirling around nashi pear and little lemon zest freshness, then finishing with an attractive bitter note.

Mouthwatering, with a refined, lacy mousse, this is well-spiced and fragrant. A subtle skein of ground anise, clove and cardamom winds through flavors of baked cassis, chopped hazelnut, lime blossoms and pastry. Tightly meshed, with sleek elegance and fine tension throughout. The NV Champagne Premier Cru Selection Brut is a breath of fresh air, pouring a bright straw color with a light copper tinge. This release is a blend of 70% Pinot Noir and the rest Chardonnay, with 45% from 2021, 25% from 2020, and the remainder from 2019. Approachable and inviting, it was raised without oak and is a total charmer, with notes of fresh orchard fruit, citrus sherbet, fresh almond, and powdery flowers. Medium-bodied, it has a silky, chalky texture, a rounded mousse, and a delightful, fruity yet refreshing finish. Drink over the coming 5–7 years. Disgorged in January 2025 with 6.5 grams per liter dosage.

The NV Brut Sélection is brisk, finely cut and super expressive. Chalk, slate, mint, white flowers and lemon oil all race across the palate. This nervy, salivating NV Champagne is a terrific introduction to the range. Bright acids pull it all together on the close.
