The new release of Henriot’s Brut Souverain delivers a beautifully refined, floral bouquet of apple, pear, brioche, chalky soil tones, white lilies and just a touch of nuttiness in the upper register. On the palate the wine is crisp, full-bodied, focused and complex, with a good spine of acidity, pinpoint bubbles, fine focus and balance and a long, zesty and vibrant finish. This is quite stylish.

Based on the 2015 vintage, the latest release of Henriot's NV Brut Souverain offers up inviting aromas of white peach, apple blossom, nectarine and pastry cream. Medium-bodied, bright and fleshy, with a pretty core of fruit, tangy acids and a pillowy mousse, it's drinking well on release. - William Kelley
