Sourced predominantly from the Grand Crus of Oger and Mesnil-sur-Oger, the NV Champagne Grand Cru Blanc De Blancs Extra Brut pours a medium yellow color and is expressive on opening, with notes of lemon bars, honey, pear, and fresh flowers. Medium-bodied and approachable, its pillowy mousse fills out the palate, with a fresh feel throughout and a clean and silky finish. It’s drinking wonderfully now and will drink well over the coming 8-10 years

The NV Extra Brut Blanc de Blancs is terrific. Candied citrus, passion fruit, mint, white flowers, tangerine peel and light tropical notes lend notable flair to this effusive, inviting Blanc de Blancs. Airy and breezy, with notable finesse, this is total a delight. Most of the fruit for this bottling is from Oger and Le Mesnil-sur-Oger.

Made entirely from grand cru fruit and backed up by a reserve system going back to 1985, this wine plays with the tradition of reducing the pressure at second fermentation to yield a gentler, creamier mousse. It's a harmonious step for this wine, whose fruit, at least in this July 2022 disgorgement, is bristling with grapefruit oil bitters, hazelnut and butter pastry, rather concentrated yet not hugely tense or driven. It's a stylish, aromatic blanc de blancs of immediate pleasure.
