An alluring and savoury Sauvignon Blanc with a welcome mid-palate oily richness and a generosity of ripe tropical guava, kiwi, and kumquat characters, all beautifully nuanced by spring flowers and candied almonds. Framed by zesty acidity, this wine balances vibrancy and suppleness. Its fruit ripeness and texture make it an ideal companion for buttery potato, chicken, or fish dishes, and it pairs wonderfully with Tortilla Española (egg and potato). Presqu'ile Winery, established in 2008 by the Murphy family, continues to excel under the stewardship of winemaker Dieter Cronje, who has been with the winery since its inception. 100% Presqu’ile Vineyard fruit, native yeast fermented and aged in stainless steel, neutral French oak, and concrete egg.

Crushed citrus, tart grapefruit, and mint herbs all emerge from the 2023 Sauvignon Blanc Santa Barbara County, which was aged six months in 80% stainless steel and 20% French oak. Medium-bodied, juicy, and lively on the palate, it delivers pretty, almost tropical fruit with nicely integrated yet bright acidity and a clean finish. It's going to be incredibly versatile on the dinner table and is best enjoyed over the coming 2-3 years. Drink 2025-2028.
