Continues to be my favourite of Pierre-Yves' wines from the village, with its ripe aromas of Mirabelle plum, apricots touched with honey and a hint of white blossoms. The texture is luxurious, almost decadent, with slightly lower acidity than is sometimes the case in this cellar. The grapes are from three parcels totalling 0.67ha that cover the slope – one on the top, and two at the base. According to him, this is 'the most Chassagne-like style of St-Aubin'.

(92-95 points) A fine clear lemon yellow. The bouquet is attractive, a little more on the stones and a little less full than Chatenière, and beautifully poised. Perhaps even more typical of St-Aubin than Chatenière, with a long finish based on a mineral acidity. Fresh. Lively and rewarding. Picked on 31st August, which is early for St-Aubin, but is looking like a great decision.

(92-94 points) The 2023 Saint-Aubin En Remilly 1er Cru offers a mixture of white and yellow fruit on the nose, very well defined and mineral-driven as a subtle smokiness emerges with time. The palate is very harmonious and well balanced with great concentration, and hints of tropical fruit toward a finish that fans out gloriously. 91-93 points, The 2023 Saint-Aubin 1er Cru En Remilly reveals aromas of pear, hazelnuts and white flowers, followed by a medium to full-bodied, satiny and seamless palate with a rich core of fruit, lively acids and a charming, open-knit profile.

(90-92 points) A mild hint of the exotic is present on the form of white peach and pineapple along with hints of citrus confit and acacia. The sappy and vibrant medium-bodied flavors are blessed with plenty of dry extract while exhibiting good length on the balanced finale where a touch of sweetness slowly emerges. While sweetness, in and of itself, is certainly not a fault, and I don't penalize the wine for that because it's balanced, but I would observe that this is somewhat less stylistically appealing to me than some others in the range.
