Sourced from a south-facing site planted in 1990, Picq’s 2023 Chablis 1er Cru Vaucoupin opens in the glass with notes of crisp pear, peach, and Granny Smith apple, mingled with hints of orange peel. On the palate, it is medium- to full-bodied and textural yet vibrant, offering considerable concentration, racy acidity and an engaging, charming profile, before culminating in a persistent, precise finish.
