I always like Guillaume Michel’s Chablis AC bottling and often look for it on restaurant wine lists, as it is always such a great value. The 2023 will be another I will be on the lookout for in coming months, as it is very high in quality and will drink beautifully from the moment of release. The wine’s aromatic constellation is bright and complex, delivering notes of lime, pink grapefruit, chalk and wet stone minerality and a topnote of dried flowers. On the palate the wine is full-bodied, crisp and complex, with a good core, lovely soil undertow and cut, bright acids and a long, balanced and nicely precise finish.
