(93-95 points) The 2023 Echezeaux Grand Cru has a lovely bouquet with brambly red fruit, sous-bois and touches of pressed rose petal blossoming in the glass. There is very fine delineation here. The palate is medium-bodied with pliant tannins. It is quite svelte in texture, with pinpoint acidity and a mineral-laden finish that lingers long in the mouth. (92-94 points) Once again the nose is firmly reduced and revealing nothing. In the same vein as several wines in the range, there is both excellent freshness and a super-sleek mouthfeel to the utterly delicious, if not especially dense flavors that possess a beguiling inner mouth perfumed, all wrapped in a strikingly persistent and beautifully balanced finale. Lovely.
