The 2023 Zinfandel Sonoma County has by far the most components added in the pot than they have ever produced. A deep red hue, it’s fantastic on the nose, with notes of wild mixed berries, brambly herbs, sweet earth, and fresh flowers. The palate is refreshing and has snappy ripe fruit and structure, with a weightless feel and a mouthwatering finish. It has real potential to age and shouldn’t be regarded as a lesser wine in the range just because it’s an appellation wine. Drink 2026-2040.

The 2023 Zinfandel (Sonoma County) is a boisterous, expressive wine. Strong floral and spice top notes lead into a core of vibrant red-toned fruit, new leather, cedar, sweet spice and incense. Vineyard sites are Belloni, Pagani Ranch, Rossi Ranch, Mounts Ranch, Carlisle and Old Hill.
