This 2023 Cabernet Sauvignon is something of a second label for Vine Hill Ranch, incorporating more benchland and fewer hillside parcels, as well as some young vine material. It's focused on national distribution rather than direct to consumer, so readers may find it out there in the wild, perhaps at upscale steakhouses and the like. Cherries are joined by gentle herbal nuances and a hint of vanilla in this medium- to full-bodied wine.
