Playing in the medium-bodied, perfumed, elegant style of the vintage, this beauty offers an incredible perfume of sweet raspberries, spring flowers, peppery garrigue, and violets. With ultra-fine tannins, flawless overall balance, and a great finish, it's a gem in the vintage that will evolve gracefully over the coming 10-15 years.

With a reductive profile, the 2022 Chateauneuf du Pape Cuvee Imperiale, a blend of 95% Grenache Noir and the remaining portion from other authorized varieties in unknown proportions, exhales aromas of peony, iris, dark wild berries, flowers and mulberries. Medium to full-bodied, satiny and seamless, it is characterized by ripe tannins and a broad, saline finish accented by peony notes and bright acids. Wafting from the glass with prominent spice box, black cherry, black plum and raspberry alongside minty shadings, the 2022 packs terrific focus and inner energy.
