The 2022 Corse Figari Clos is a fine example of a deep, full-bodied red wine. Made with Niellucciu, Sciacarellu, Syrah, and a spicy touch of Cinsault, Yves Canarelli magnifies these characteristics with an absolutely heady, charming, and highly complex nose that evokes candied orange and kirsch. The same is true on the palate, with an extremely full, deep, full-bodied texture, without any harshness. A perfect mastery of aging brings out sought-after aromas of spice and leather, interspersed with hints of chocolate. The finish is full-bodied, with superb aromatic persistence. Drinking window opens in 2026 and remains wide for years. It's delightful now, but poised for graceful aging.
