(91-94 points) Elegant, pure and airy aromas are comprised by mostly red berries with background hints of crushed fennel, forest floor and anise. The intensely mineral-driven and strikingly well-delineated medium weight flavors possess a wonderful underlying tension that adds a real sense of lift to the moderately austere and beautifully long finish that is akin to having a small pebble in the mouth. Excellent.

(90-93 points) The most hit by the frost. Just 4 barrels made. A sound concentrated deep red purple. the bouquet shows a bit of wood but mostly a dense raspberry fruit. There is an extra little kick of concentration behind, still with the wood alongside but this should harmonise as the fruit overtakes the coconut. Drink from 2027-2033.

(91-93 points) The 2021 Nuits-Saint-Georges 1er Cru Les Perrières is beautiful, unwinding in the glass with aromas of sweet red berries, orange zest, peonies and raw cocoa. Medium to full-bodied, bright and vibrant, it's a pure, precise, mineral wine that lives up to its climat's name.
