The 2021 Insoglio del Cinghale is rich with crushed lavender, purple plum, mocha, and black pepper and plush and compelling with its aromatics. Ful-bodied, it is ripe with dark black cherry fruit, turned earth, and a clean lift off the finish. There are well integrated tannins and has a pleasing mineral touch. The former wine director in me would jump on this as a fantastic wine by the glass option, as it casts a large net of appeal and checks a lot of boxes for the price. Drink 2023-2030.

A sleek red highlighted by blackberry, black cherry and violet flavors, with hints of iron and black olive tapenade lingering on the dusty finish. Syrah, Merlot, Cabernet Franc, Cabernet Sauvignon and Petit Verdot. Drink now through 2028.
