First produced in 1982, Cabreo is a blend of Merlot, Cabernet Sauvignon and Sangiovese from vines in Greve in Chianti. Full of dark, plummy fruits, it's very spicy and woody at present due to 18 months in French oak barriques, 30% new. There's plenty of concentration here, but it needs time for the oak to settle down.
