Extremely perfumed and aromatic with rose petals, lavender and violets. Hints of fresh herbs to the blackcurrant fruit. Medium-to full-bodied with very fine tannins and a long, persistent finish. It goes on for minutes. I love the balance of this. Drink or hold.

Composed of a blend of Cabernet Sauvignon, Cabernet Franc, Merlot, and Petit Verdot, the 2020 Il Pino di Biserno is fresh and energetic within a rich profile. Offering pure aromas of cassis, tobacco, delicate smoke, and pencil lead, the palate is plush and open, with a bit of iron richness, full body, and a round texture without being heavy. The 2020 Il Pino di Biserno is bold and ripe with creamy blackberry, candied cherry, spice and tarry smoke. There are pressed roses, blood oranges and tea leaves buried deep inside. The tannins are pronounced, but this full-bodied Tuscan red is almost ready to go straight out of the gate. The blend is Cabernet Sauvignon, Merlot, Petit Verdot and Cabernet Franc.

The 2020 Tenuta di Biserno Pino di Biserno has an almost black core. The nose is very spicy and peppery - it feels young and lively and there is quite a range of black fruit aromas and delicate floral notes in the background. On the palate it is very structured, with spicy, peppery tannins, vivid juicy acidity and a lovely freshness on the finish. A lively and bright wine. The blend is Merlot 38%, Cabernet Franc 23%, Cabernet Sauvignon 22%, Petit Verdot 17%.

The 2020 Il Pino di Biserno is bottled sunshine. Rich, racy and voluptuous, the 2020 is such a classy Maremma wine. Succulent red cherry, blood orange, mint, spice and new leather are front and center. Silky and plush, with no hard contours, the 2020 is seriously impressive and delicious.
