Medium brick red-colored, the 2019 Barolo Riserva Le Coste Di Monforte is spicy and sanguine on the nose, with notes of blood orange peel, tangy cranberries, lifted spice, and wild herbs. Medium-bodied, it has good focus and linear drive, with refined tannins, bright, ripe acidity, a mouthwatering, refreshing feel, and good length. It gently tapers and is a very appealing Riserva to enjoy over the next 10-15 years.

The Pecchenino 2019 Barolo Le Coste di Monforte (with 4,500 bottles made) reveals a smoky character with campfire ash and toasted spice. At its core, the wine shows dark fruit and plum that dovetails into a medium-thick textural build.
