Made from 81% Cabernet Sauvignon, 15% Malbec, 3% Petit Verdot, and 1% Cabernet Franc, the 2019 Cabernet Sauvignon Napa Valley is deep garnet-purple colored. Gentle notions of bay leaves and damp soil waft from the glass, giving way to a core of stewed plums and blackcurrant pastilles, plus a hint of dried lavender. Mouth-filling herb-laced black fruits feature on the full-bodied palate, supported by chewy tannins, finishing with a savory lift.

Ripe blackcurrants and blackberries, framed with notes of sweet vanilla, eucalyptus and chocolate. Full-bodied, soft and mellow. Polished tannins and a ripe fruit core with a long finish. Chewy at the end, with a cola undertone. Better from 2023.
