(93-96 points) Most of the vines are massal selections planted between 1972 and 1978. Sulphured before the harvest and racked after. Pale lemon and lime, very stylish. Really refined, a touch of the expected juniper and verbena, all about the vineyard. Potentially a really fine classic here. Genevrières doesn’t fluctuate from one year to the next, in Antoine’s opinion.

(94+ points) The king of the cellar is the 2019 Meursault 1er Cru Genevrières, a deep and concentrated wine that wafts from the glass with aromas of pear, peach, freshly baked bread, white flowers, ripe citrus fruits and buttered popcorn. Medium to full-bodied, ample and satiny, with a layered, multidimensional profile and a long, saline finish, it has turned out brilliantly.- WK

(90-92 points) The 2019 Meursault Genevrilres ler Cru had not been racked and was sulfured the week prior to my visit. It has a crisp, well-defined bouquet, although I find the Meursault Charmes has a little more personality and terroir expression at the moment. The palate delivers a pleasant saline bite on the entry, and good depth and more concentration than the Charmes. Spicy yet just missing some complexity on the finish. - By Neal Martin on October 2020
