90% Semillon 8% sauvignon blanc and 2% muscadelle. Planted on silica-rich gravel and mixed clay and gravel soil resting on the signature limestone bedrock. Barrel fermented then aged in 100% new oak. This shows stunning freshness and focus from start to finish. Packed with crushed rocks and a chalky minerality supporting wonderfully fresh and ripe fruit. Well evolved and focused with white and yellow stone fruit orange rind coconut and tropical fruit notes. A complex fruit driven yet wonderfully spicy wine. Enjoy over the next 10-25 years.

Highly Recommended. White peach, pineapple, white ginger, orange zest and green fig notes are clear and racy, while green almond, brioche, pear and yellow apple details wait in reserve. Offers stunning range and polish, showing terrific energy and cut on the finish. This just makes you feel special when you drink it. An estate that has been rising steadily for a while now. Well balanced, this gorgeous ripe wine is packed full of fresh yellow fruits, ripe oranges and lemon. The fruit counterpoints the generous, dense structure, offering the dry core of botrytis. Acidity gives a line of freshness at the end. Drink from 2020.

Medium gold. The nose has opened up impressively, with sumptuous aromas of mandarins, apricot and pineapple. The attack is intense and racy thanks to the vibrant acidity, and shows little sign of evolution. It's very sweet and concentrated, but there's no heaviness thanks to the acidity and the balance of the wine. The oak is well integrated and the finish is as focused and pure as the attack. Very long.

Light in color, the wine pops with its over ripe scented nose of pineapple, apricot, coconut, spice and honey perfume. Balanced, sweet and fresh, the wine delivers a nutty, honeyed, pineapple finish. The 2011 Coutet is simpler on the nose compared to the 2010, with dried honey, white chocolate and a touch of elderflower. The palate is well balanced with a viscous opening, fresh and vibrant, with a gentle build towards a composed quince and spice finish.
