(90-93 points) This is more overtly sauvage with an intensely earthy character that includes very fresh red currant, spice, wet stone and forest floor notes that serve as the perfect introduction to the rich, full and attractively textured flavors that display ample minerality on the tangy, focused and beautifully long finish. This is not an especially big Mazis but there is solid balance and a sense of underlying harmony of expression.
