Light chestnut color with golden tints. The nose is still very expressive, almost pungent. Oaky and fruity flavours prevail. On the palate, the tannins are of exceptional quality and confer great finesse on this Armagnac from a superb terroir.
After leaving Algeria the Morel family took over the Chateau de Gaube. From 1956, the earliest distillations produced elegant, sophisticated armagnacs. M. Morel personally selected the oak used to make large vats in which their armagnac was to age for 40 years and more. The baco grape is the favoured grape at Chateau de Gaube, producing spectacular armagnacs year after year.
