(93-95 points) A ripe, perfumed, and sexy Pomerol, the 2025 Enclos Tourmaline is based on 96% Merlot and 4% Cabernet Franc that's being raised 14 months in 100% new barrels. Blue fruits, candied violets, chocolate, and graphite all define the aromatics, and on the palate, it has integrated acidity, terrific balance, and outstanding length. Hitting 14.8% alcohol, I love its overall balance as well as its concentration. It's one of the more satisfying, sexy wines in the appellation.

Dark bramble fruit and soft herbal edges on the nose – some dark chocolate and cocoa powder. Tannins are at the fore but this is ripe and fleshy with plenty of the texture coming from the fruit. Ends clean and grippy with a real lovely juiciness as well as wet stone saltiness. Easy to like this. A yield of 18lh/ha.

This has the intensity and the structure of the vintage, matched by a ton of juice and black fruits, orange peel, black chocolate, slate, crayon. Great potential, if lacking a little in the real luscious tannic quality that you get in Pomerol in the best vintages. Vignobles K, JC Meyrou director. (92-94 points) The 2025 Enclos Tourmaline is a selection of the best plots the Kwok family owns in Pomerol. Dark and ample, with tremendous power, the 2025 captures all the natural richness of the year and also remains remarkably balanced. Dark-toned fruit, espresso, chocolate, new leather and licorice build nicely. Enclos Tourmaline is fermented in barrel, an approach that works quite well here. -- Antonio Galloni

(90-92 points) The 2025 Enclos Tourmaline is the most oak-marked wine in the Vignobles K range, reflecting its integral vinification in barrels. It reveals a spicy bouquet of dark wild berries and clove. Medium- to full-bodied, dense and concentrated, it’s built around a structured, somewhat firm palate and concludes with a long, spicy finish. This is a powerful wine—perhaps a touch too much so at this stage—whose tannins will need to integrate with élevage.
