The 2024 Zinfandel Juvenile comes from a site where the average vine age is now around 30 years old, with some missing vine spots replanted more recently. The wine is savory and elegant, with the missing vine spots adding freshness to the profile. Offering notes of mocha, deeper cherry, and fig tones, it’s medium to full-bodied on the palate. It opens with ripe cherry cordial and purity and has ripe tannins. Aged in 10% new oak, drink it over the coming 5-6 years. - Audrey Frick
