(92-95 points) A brooding and reticent nose with its beautifully spicy and floral-suffused aromas of red currant and anise also flash pronounced exotic tea wisps. The rich, full-bodied and powerful larger-bodied flavors possess fine mid-palate density while exhibiting ample minerality on the delineated and imposingly structured but not really especially austere finale. This is first-rate and, at least today, is the best wine in the range though I underscore that ample patience will be necessary if you wish to see this beauty at its peak.

(93-95 points) The 2024 Vosne-Romanée Aux Malconsorts 1er Cru has a little more cohesion on the nose compared to the Beaux Monts, well defined with slightly darker fruit. This certainly has its nose in front as I alternated between the two glasses. The palate is medium-bodied with quite an insistent grip on the entry. Less reduction in this cuvée, quite peppery towards the finish with a longer aftertaste. This Malconsorts should repay cellaring.- Neal Martin

(92-94 points) Not so deep in colour, mid ruby, with torrefaction on the nose, a little less immediately opulent than usual. Very spicy at the finish, the stems are quite prominent here. Fortunately, the fruit returns behind. There should be more still to develop here.

(92-94 points) Aromas of cherry, dark chocolate, spice and vine smoke, mingled with rose petals, introduce Dujac’s 2024 Vosne-Romanée 1er Cru Aux Malconsorts, a medium- to full-bodied wine that is supple yet elegantly muscular. More lightly structured than its two predecessors yet possessing substantial flesh on its bones, it is supported by a vibrant spine of acidity and framed by powdery tannins, presenting a serious, reserved profile.- Kristaps Karklins

Forward aroma of raspberry fruit with hints of earth, leather and wild herbs, seemingly marked by the whole-cluster fermentation used here. The texture is lively and fresh, with medium body, firm tannins and moderate length. The grapes are from a large parcel near La Tâche and Gaudichots. This is consistently among the best-value wines in the Dujac cellar.
