The 2022 Zeltinger Schlossberg Riesling trocken Bömer is pure and intense on the very fine, mineral and saline/flinty nose. Rich and generous on the palate, with aromatic white stone fruit aromas (peaches, nectarines, yellow plums), this is an intense, round and concentrated, juicy but refined and saline Schlossberg from a parcel on the lower part of the cru. 12.5% stated alcohol. Natural cork. Tasted at the domaine in November 2023. - SR

(92-95 points) The 2022 Riesling Zeltinger Schlossberg Bömer 2022 is named after the parcel where it was harvested, the warmest parcel of the Zeltinger Schlossberg, benefitting from the proximity to the village and the radiation of its slate roofs. The nose opens with the twin notion of hazelnut and pineapple juice. The palate is just as juicy and continues with this pineapple impression, marrying rather well with the oaky touch of hazelnut. Beautifully long with ripe lemon notes. Very balanced, harmonious, pervaded by lemon-tempered pineapple, yet dry. (Dry) Anne Krebiehl MW
