A super-elegant Mosel Auslese with a creamy-dreamy personality, but also a ton of very fresh peachy fruit. Gigantic freshness at the finish which has notes of salted peanut, King Alphonso mango and fresh coriander. The 2022 Zeltinger Sonnenuhr Riesling Auslese offers a very fine and delicate, slightly flinty bouquet with ripe and lush stone fruit and some grapefruit aromas. Lush and elegant on the palate, this is a very fine and beautifully balanced Auslese with a saline and finely citric finish that makes this a salivating and highly digestible Auslese even at this early stage. However, I'd prefer it when it's 20 years old. 7.5% stated alcohol. Natural cork. Tasted at the domaine in November 2023. - Stephan Reinhardt

The 2022 Riesling Zeltinger Sonnenuhr Auslese has only the slightest presence of botrytis, which means thrilling purity of fruit: like iced Mirabelle jelly, framed by citrus, definitely lemon, but there seems to be a bergamot overtone. The palate is a heightened, sweet, precise and clear vision of lemon-laced Mirabelle fruit. Very fine, absolutely pure, slightly viscous, balanced with the finest citrus expression and verve at 102g/L of residual sugar. (Sweet) -- Anne Krebiehl MW
