This was once Les Hauts des Crays, but the name has been modified to conform with the 1er Cru. Les Crays has a very fine bouquet, mostly white fruit, plus stones, yet obviously with flesh beneath. Well ventilated at this altitude, with some veins of clay in their holding that you don’t get in the middle of the vineyard, according to Roger. Chiselled white fruit in volume, with a little spice to finish. Brilliant potential!
