The 2022 vintage saw little rain, with heat spikes contributing to a riper fruit character. Despite a warmer than average growing environment, the Sandhi Sanford and Benedict Vineyard Chardonnay exhibits a delightful nose fragrant with white peach blossom, ripe sweet lemon, and pastry dough—medium in body with flavours of yellow apple, lemon and fresh cream. On the richer side due to, 10 months of fermentation in oak barrels followed by another six months in an anaerobic environment contributed to creamy texture and body.
