The 2022 Morgon Cuvée Marcel Lapierre, coming from vines averaging 100 years old planted in the Côte du Py and the lieu-dit "Le Douby," offers a lush blue-hued nose of marionberries, blueberries, lilac, licorice, thyme and cloves. It's medium to full-bodied with ample concentration and a juicy core of blue and black berry fruit. The wine retains freshness with ripe acids and herbal tones of eucalyptus and mint, with a pleasant delineation along the mid-palate and finish. - Kenna Wells
