92+ To my palate, the Pellé family has made the finest examples of Menetou-Salon in the appellation since the first vintages I sold from the estate, all the way back in the mid-1990s. Their 2022 les Morogues bottling is no exception, as this is yet again a stellar bottle of wine. The bouquet is deep and complex, offering up scents of lime, lemon, gooseberry, fresh-culled grass, a very complex base of limestone minerality, citrus zest and orange blossoms. On the palate the wine is full-bodied, complex and beautifully precise, with a lovely core, superb mineral undertow, vibrant acids and excellent balance on the long and bouncy finish. This is first class sauvignon blanc!
