The 2022 Riesling Brauneberg J Erste Lage was primarily harvested from parcels across Brauneberger Juffer and the rest from Juffer Sonnenuhr and Brauneberger Klostergarten. It comes with a slight yeasty funk on the nose. Underneath sits very aromatic tart yet ripe apple fruit slowly verging into riper stone fruit. The clear-cut palate has a zesty edge and mouth-watering flow. The concentrated body displays vivid stoniness, again almost austere, with a precise and textured finish. Fine acidity pervades all. Fermented in both steel and wood. (Dry)
