The 2022 Cabernet Sauvignon Altagracia comes from the more clay, volcanic hillsides located on the eastern side of the estate. It has a Pauillac-like style in its darker currants, iron, tobacco, and graphite-driven aromas, and it’s medium to full-bodied, has a balanced, layered mouthfeel, ripe tannins, and outstanding length. Drink bottles any time over the coming 10-12 years.

he 2022 Altagracia is Cabernet Sauvignon blended with 8% Petit Verdot and 4% Cabernet Franc. Deep garnet-purple colored, it skips out with easy going scents of cherry pie, juicy plums, and red currant jelly, giving way to hints of fallen leaves, allspice, and Sichuan pepper. The full-bodied palate is light on its feet and elegant with soft tannins and well-knit freshness, finishing on a lingering peppery note. Nicely done!
