A seductive black cherry and plum fruit touched with rose petals. The texture has a rich and supple edge, with an ethereal fruit character and a balance that distinguishes it from its neighbours. Produced from four parcels spread around the village. In 2020, Roumier fermented 30% of the grapes as whole clusters. He notes that the village-level vines suffered more from the heat than the premiers crus. Despite these trials, Roumier has yielded marvellous results here. (Drink between 2025-2040)

Beautiful stuff, with a pure, vibrant, incredibly seamless style, the 2022 Chambolle-Musigny shows juicy red fruits, spice, and floral nuances. It has beautifully integrated oak, medium body, clean acidity, and a great finish. It's already drinking brilliantly yet should have 15 years of longevity given its overall balance, purity, and structure. I certainly loved drinking this bottle. Drink 2025-2040.

(91-93 points) 35% whole bunch. Dense purple, a slight reduction on the nose, a little touch of coffee. Complex dark fruits below, and a little toasty torrefaction but not much, and not enough to destabilise the joy of this cuvée. Much more vibrant fresh cherry fruits emerge behind. Very long aftertaste

There is a touch of mocha on the aromas of black raspberry, spice and violet. There is fine freshness and energy to the sleek and tension-filled medium weight flavors that possess both an attractive texture and solid precision on the complex and lingering finale where a touch of sour cherry slowly emerges. This quality effort is sufficiently structured to reward mid-term cellaring.
