(90-92 points) A little more density to the ruby colour. More raspberry than strawberry, with the underlying cherry that seems very present this year. Ripe enough fruit on the palate, building to the back, a very complete wine, with the fruit covering the acidity nicely. Persistent.

The 2022 Vosne-Romanée Les Hautes Maizières, which comes from clayey, fossil-rich soils, has a fragrant bouquet with Morello cherries, wild strawberry and light rose petal scents. Very understated at first but gaining intensity in the glass. The palate is medium-bodied with a pleasant sapidity on the entry, fine tannins, pleasing sharpness with a touch of Asian spice on the finish. Very elegant and it will drink well over the next 12 to 15 years. - Neal Martin
