(94-96 points) The 2022 Clos Puy Arnaud is a real stunner, and one of the great under the radar gems on the Right Bank. The 2022 is an especially rich, heady wine. Blue/purplish fruit, lavender, spice, leather and gravel build in a heady, sumptuous wine that delivers the goods. (90-92 points) The 2022 Clos Puy Arnaud should be outstanding. It has a forward, juicy, sexy style in its red, blue, and black fruits as well as medium to full-bodied mouthfeel, notes of smoked tobacco, chocolate, and earth, ripe tannins, and great finish. I love its overall balance as well as its length, and it's going to be a hidden gem in the vintage.

(90-92 points) A blend of 70% Merlot, 25% Cabernet Franc and 5% Cabernet Sauvignon, the 2022 Clos Puy Arnaud displays a delicate yet complex bouquet with aromas of sweet cherries, loamy soils, iris, lilac, dark berries and hints of menthol. Medium to full-bodied, charming and fleshy, with powdery tannins, it's penetrating and saline. This estate is producing more and more characterful, high quality wines, and the the 2022 is one of the best ever.- YC

(90 - 92 points) The 2022 Puy Arnaud is deep garnet-purple in color. It tumbles out with exuberant scents of plum preserves, blackberry compote, and raspberry pie, followed by suggestions of sandalwood and tobacco leaf. The medium to full-bodied palate is coated with layers of black and red berry preserves, supported by chewy tannins and plenty of freshness, finishing earthy.
