The 2021 Chardonnay Oak Grove Vineyard, from vines situated on sedimentary soil, is energetic and mineral-driven this vintage. Barrel fermented and finished in stainless steel, it opens with streaks of matchstick that give way to a core of red apples, yogurt, pie spice and lemon peel. The light-bodied palate has a silky texture and is buzzing with bright acidity and flinty nuance. It has a concentrated core of ripe citrus and a very long, mineral-driven finish.
