This is spiced and toasty with baked apples, grilled pineapple, bread crust and some nuttiness to it. Full-bodied with broad, creamy texture and a ripe tropical core with some ground spices, chamomile and nut shell undertones. Lingering, slightly phenolic finish. Drink or hold.

The 2021 Lewis Cellars Reserve Chardonnay swans out with fragrant notes of honeysuckle and lime blossoms, leading to a core of pear tart, quince paste, and apple crumble. The full-bodied palate is densely laden with spicy apple and cedary flavors, framed by seamless acidity, finishing long and satiny textured. If you love overtly oaky Chardonnays that are well made, this is a great example!
