Crushed almond and oyster shells give way to apricot and lime zest as the 2021 Catarratto Masso slowly comes to life in the glass. This is deeply textural with suave green melon and citrus tones carried by vibrant acidity as a sweet herbal tinge adds further depth toward the close. It finishes long and potent, balanced by a bump of residual acidity as mint and candied lime nuances fade. This is a fully satisfying and, frankly, delicious Catarratto. - By Eric Guido on June 2023
