The premier cru les Cras bottling from Dujac Fils et Père is nicely red fruity in personality this year, offering up scents of cherries, nutskin, gamebird, sweet stem tones, woodsmoke, coffee, vanillin oak and a fine base of soil. On the palate the wine is deep, full-bodied and nicely reserved in personality, with a good core, fine soil signature, ripe tannins and a long, balanced and focused finish. This will be lovely in due course.
