Sourced from three vineyards, the ripe but transparent red 2021 Pinot Noir VGR is a lovely expression of a regional wine, with ripe raspberry, mossy earth, and spicy notes of licorice. Juicy and approachable on the palate, with juicy fruit filling its medium frame, it’s long on the palate, with fine tannins and a hint of warming spice on the finish. Drink it over the next 5-7 years.

Crushed wild strawberries, lavender and cedar shavings form an inviting bouquet as the 2021 Pinot Noir VGR blossoms in the glass. This opens with a lovely inner sweetness, casting ripe red fruits across a cooling acid core. It finishes long and potent yet with admirable freshness, leaving hints of licorice and the slightest tug of fine tannin. This is a fun and energetic Pinot geared toward accessibility.
