The 2021 Meursault Meix Chavaux has a crisp, understated, yet mineral-driven bouquet that unfolds beautifully in the glass. The palate is flinty on the entry before segueing into a harmonious and slightly riper mid-palate than you would imagine from such a cool vintage. Deft touches of spice on the finish complete a delicious Meix Chavaux.

A restrained but extremely pretty and quite airy nose features hints of mineral reduction and citrus zest on the cool aromas of mostly apple and acacia. The racy and utterly delicious medium weight flavors possess a bit more volume if not quite the same minerality on the clean, dry and youthfully austere finale. This impressively long effort could use better depth but in magnum format, that shouldn't be a problem. Excellent and warmly recommended.
