One of three 100% Sangiovese cru bottlings from the estate, Colledilà has been produced since the 2009 vintage. Reaching 380 metres, it flanks a ridge incorporating exposures to the southeast and southwest. The low yielding, limestone-rich plot was harvested 26-27 September. From a dusty, stony backdrop, evocative scents of jasmine, fennel and thyme blossom emerge. The palate is concentrated, with dark cherry and blackberry girdled by muscular tannins, very chalky in texture. Then it bursts with bright acidity on the finish. Still tight, with some wood notes to digest. (Drink between 2026-2036)
