The 2020 Marienburg GG is pure and fresh on the coolish and stony nose that represents its terroir perfectly well even if still showing a sur lie layer. Very elegant and refined on the palate, this is a lush, well-balanced and now creamy-textured Marienburg with gentle acidity and a long, saline and finely tannic finish. I'd cellar this wine for at least another 3 or 4 years to gain back the purity from last year. 12% stated alcohol. Natural cork. Tasted at the domaine in July 2022. - Stephan Reinhardt

The complex fresh-herb character is underlined by white-fruit and lemon-curd notes. Discreet succulence and plenty of lemony freshness on the medium-bodied palate give this dry Mosel riesling a level of balance that should delight fans of these wines.
