Alluring aromas recall ripe berry, wild rose, vineyard dust and culinary spice. The palate is firm but elegant, offering crushed raspberry, tart cherry, licorice and a dollop of vanilla supported by taut, fine-grained tannins. Fresh acidity keeps it bright while a hint of almond liqueur lingers on the finish. Drink 2026–2034.

Brick red in color, the 2020 Barolo V. Lazzairasco is spicy and perfumed with notes of eucalyptus, mossy earth, grenadine, cherries, dried rose, and anise. Medium-bodied, it has a nice purity of concentration on the palate, with ripe tannins, a velvety texture, and a clean, balanced finish that has good length. It’s another impressive wine from Porro with some potential for aging over the next 12-15 years.
