Another négoce white under the Anne et Jean-François Ganevat label and a one-off, the 2020 Le Clos Savagnin Arbois was never produced before, and it hasn't been produced since (at least not so far). It's from certified organic grapes purchased from Domaine du Pelican, the Jura winery from Marquis d'Angerville in Burgundy. It has varietal notes, with hints of tangerine peel, a little mushroomy, very lively and with good tension. It comes in at 13.5% alcohol, and like the rest of 2020 whites I tasted, it aged in used 600-liter barrels for more than three years and was bottled unfined and unfiltered four years after the harvest, without added sulfur dioxide. I like it very much. - Luis Gutiérrez
