90+ The 2020 Gevrey villages from Philippe Harmand is really strong this year. The wine delivers a vibrant aromatic constellation of sappy black cherries and dark berries, grilled meats, dark chocolate, woodsmoke, a fine base of soil tones and a touch of new oak. On the palate the wine is deep, full-bodied and nicely transparent in personality, with a fine core, fine-grained tannins and a long, tangy and already quite suave finish. This is excellent villages!
